Most Popular Weekend Markets in Northern Beaches

Northern Beaches markets have famously become some of the most popular and highest quality markets in all of Australia. With an abundance of locally grown fresh produce, a huge range of local artists showcasing their works, artisan products such as honey and chutneys, plus a whole heap more, it is no wonder people flock to these markets in the thousands. Here, Whitehouse Real Estate will discuss some of the Northern Beaches most popular markets, what makes them special and why you should make the effort to visit. We will also touch on how we can help you find a home for you in the area, so that you can enjoy the Northern Beaches markets every weekend of the year!

Manly Markets

The Manly Markets are an institution on the Northern Beaches. Held every Saturday and Sunday, the markets are held in the bustling suburb of Manly. The market is teeming with emerging artists and designers, food purveyors, artisans, incredible flowers and much more. If you are seeking a big market that has everything, the Manly Markets are for you. Operating every Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm, these markets are an absolute must.

Balgowlah RSL Market

Located just 5-minute drive north of Clontarf Beach, the Seaforth Market takes place in the undercover Balgowlah RSL carpark every Sunday from 8am-1230pm. Dogs on-lead are welcome here. Start off by grabbing a delicious coffee and snacks at one of the fab food stalls. As you wander, you will find organic and conventional fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, meat, fish and dairy including eggs. Beautiful plants and flowers can be found alongside locally made fashion accessories, jewellery, and homewares.

Palm Beach Markets

Held on the 4th Sunday of every month, the Palm Beach Markets are located with the stunning Barrenjoey Headland and Lighthouse as the backdrop. With some of the area’s most delicious food and talented artisans, this market should not be missed. Combine this with the fact that you can walk down to the beach and for a dip to cool off or take a reinvigorating beach walk, makes the Palm Beach Markets a unique and special experience.
